Spreadsheet program

For those of your in CHM 110, this week’s project requires you to use a spreadsheet to make a calibration curve – a plot of the absorbance of cobalt chloride vs the concentration of cobalt chloride.  Many of you likely have some version of Microsoft Office on your computers, but if you don’t there are some options:

  1. FDTC computer labs have Office installed.  There is an open computer lab on the 4th floor ot the 5000 building.
  2. You can install the free office suite Libreoffice, which contains an Office-compatible spreadsheet program, word processor, and presentation program.  In fact, I use Libreoffice to type your CHM 110 tests and to create the supplemental notes that you can download on this site.
